John Connolly died age 19 whilst serving with the 9th Btn Northumberland Fusiliers. He was born and lived Jarrow, son of Mrs. C. Connolly of 25 Albion Street Jarrow He enlisted in Wool, Dorset.

John is buried in Highland Cemetery, Roclincourt.
