He was baptised 11 April 1888 at St Augustine, Paddington He was the son of Walter John Sear and Harriet Backhouse He joined the Railway as a Vanboy on the 14 September 1898 He was married to Florence Elizabeth Turner and they had 2 children listed in the 1911 Census Florence Harriet Emma Sear born 1909 in St Pancras London Baby daughter as yet unnamed. He was now a hospital porter
