123454 Tpr. Patrick Rogers British Army 2nd Armoured Squadron Army-Depot Cavalry Corps from: Bailieborough Cavan (d. March 1980) I am researching for a book that I am writing titled ` A Tribute To Tpr Patrick Rogers...(1940-1945) The Irish Army Cavalry Corps E/43267 If anyone has any information about him or group photographs we would be well pleased and all contributions will be acknowledged in my book. I am planning to publish next year and this book will be the most informative book in verse that we will have seen for a long time. Tpr was a durationist which meant that he signed up for the duration of the war - I am sure proud to have married into the family and this is my way to say `thank you` to all these brave men whose family are not always aware of the efforts they made to give us all the life we have today. Roy Rogers Tpr Patrick`s son and I doctor Rosaleen O`Brien (Roy`s wife) will look forward to all assistance in this project that is so dear to our heart. The free section of the Wartime Memories Project website is run by volunteers. We have been helping people find out more about their relatives wartime experiences since 1999 by recording and preserving recollections, documents, photographs and small items. The website is paid for out of our own pockets, library subscriptions and from donations made by visitors.
