504250 Sergeant Audrey Allan ATS My grandmother, Audrey Allan (Miller), passed away this past October at the age of 90. She served in the Auxiliary Territorial Service, reaching the rank of Sergeant (Section Leader), at least until 1942 and perhaps into 1943; I know she was in a mixed-gender anti-aircraft battery and manned a radio, sending verbal IFF's (identification, friend or foe) to inbound aircraft. I don't know which unit(s) she served with, but perhaps the "St. Anne's-on-Sea" note on the back of one of the pictures will provide some information should anyone seek it.
