Thomas William Fuller

British Army Royal Hampshire Regiment

from:Benton, Alton

Bill Fuller was my father, he was captured during a battle in Tunis North Africa, and taken POW to Stalag 357. He was there for three years. He never really spoke about the war, and it's only recently I have started to find out what he endured.

He died of natural causes in 1999 aged 76. He made me the strong fearless woman that I am today, and I thank him for his resilience and courage to carry on after all he'd been through.
