Terence John Christopher Foley
British Army Royal Corps of Signals
from:Preston, Lancashire
Terence Foley served with the Royal Signals from 1944 to 1948. Posted to Palestine in 1945, he was part of the British peace-keeping force which faced many challenges in meeting the objectives set by the government. A paramount sense of duty, an unquestioning integrity and an unfailing sense of humour no matter what the difficulties or dangers to be faced were qualities he exhibited in abundance. He was proud of his army service and adhered to the doctrine of Certa Cito, Swift and Sure, in all private and professional communications, faithful to the Royal Corps of Signals and an exemplary role model to others.
