James MacCowan Cameron
British Army Black Watch
from:Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland
James MacCowan Cameron was a Dunkirk survivor. He was born in 1918 in Glasgow, Lanakshire, Scotland.
I am currently looking for his regiment/service number, so I can find out more about his service history and surviving Dunkirk. I know he was in the Black watch. I am told only my granddad and an officer survived in his unit.
He was very poorly after his ordeal and passed away in 1971 from cancer.
