236098 Spr. Colin Emrie Gillies British Army Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers from:Ardrishaig, Argyll, Scotland My late dad, Colin Gillies, served in WW2 with REME. He never talked about his time in Germany or during D-day. He was stationed around the Hanover and Bergen area in 1944-45 and was one of the first British troops to liberate Belsen Concentration Camp. He was from Scotland.
