234862 Tpr. Samuel Gill British Army Royal Armoured Corps My uncle Sam Gill spent some time at Stalag IVb having been captured at Tobruk fighting against Rommel troops. He also travelled to other camps, amongst them Stalag IVg Oschatz, Germany. I am reading notes that he left at his passing away about his experiences in these camps. He was away from home in Sheffield for about four and a half years.
