233717 Pfc Eldon Dewhirst William United States Army 109 Infantry Regiment from:Newton, Illinois (d.29th April 1945) My great uncle Eldon William was captured on 18th December 1945 during the Battle of the Bulge. All I know is he was captured and taken to Muhlberg Stalag 4b. On 17th April 1945 he was transferred to Paris, France where he later died on 29th April 1945. I'm hoping to somehow find someone who served with him or something more about him.
