My grandfather Harry Reynolds from Leith joined the Camerons as a boy soldier at 17 and served about 12 years, but was called up again at the start of WW2 when he was living in London. None of us know where he served but rumours say he was with the Gurkhas. He served a total of 18 years and left with the rank of CSM.
