Tech/4 Berless Carl "Bud" Fisher

United States Army 589th Btn. 422nd Regiment

from:Boonville, Indiana

My great uncle 'Bud' Fisher fought in the Battle of the Bulge with the 422nd Regiment, 106th Infantry Division. He was sent to Stalag IV-B in Mulbergh Sachsen and remained there until the Germans abandoned the camp to flee from the encroaching Russian Army. He never spoke of his experiences.
