Piper Harold William Berry

British Army Pipe Band The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles).

from:Netherlee, Glasgow

I am now 91 years old. Harold Berry was my older brother who joined the TA in 1939 and was naturally enlisted in the Cameronians Scottish Rifles at the very start of WWII.

I was in the Royal Corps of Signals from 1943 to 1954.

I lost touch with my brother but well remember his leaves and his piping in the family home. He was married and I belive he lived in Yorkshire.
