My late Grandfather (William Robertson from Dundee) was there with the Royal Engineers and was one of the lucky few to evade capture. I am currently researching what happened at St Valery in 1940, and would be grateful for any information that anyone could provide. I would especially like to contact any survivors from the 51st Highland Division who would be willing to talk of their experiences, but any information whatsoever would be gratefully received.
