230062 Sgt. Richard Walker Elder Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve 76 Sqdn. from:Newcastle-upon-Tyne (d.3rd Nov 1943) Sergeant Richard Walker Elder was a Volunteer Reserve in the Royal Air Force and served in 76 Squadron until he died on the 3rd November 1943 at the age 20 when the Halifax Bomber of 76 Squadron he was in was shot down near Dusseldorf. Richard was the Mid Upper Gunner on MP-T Bomber LK948 and he was my uncle. I would appreciate any further information relating to any crew member. Two crew members, Sergeants R. Clough 1488180 and A.E. Bristow 1394983 survived and were interned in Stalag 4b.
