George Young

British Army Inns of Court Regiment

A friend of mine is trying to find out about a battle accident his father, George Young, was involved in on 6th March 1945 whilst serving as part of 11th Armoured Division. The armoured car he was driving in Reichswald Forest, Germany, was hit by friendly fire and he suffered very bad burns. George survived, but never wanted to speak about his experience. Does anyone remember him? Other names I have are Bert Gregory and also Lt J.E.S. (John) Briggs.
