British Army Attch 27th Lancers Attch US 1st Army

My dad drove armoured cars with the 27th Lancers. He was part of an independent armoured regiment which was moved from one battle to another as required. He was moved into different units quite often, so I cannot find any campaign records. I know he was attached to the US 1st Army and served in North Africa. He started in Algiers and ended up a Monte Casino.
