James Lawrence

Canadian Army 4th Canadian Field Ambulance Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps

My father James Lawrence came across from Canada in 1939 with the 4th Field Ambulance. However, he volunteered to become a Commando and was sent for training by the English to Scotland. He went on many raids, mainly in the Mediterranean, France and Italy. I have his medals and would like to do a short history on him for future generations. All I know is the training was at Spainbridge, but am unable to get any information. .
