Sgt. Albert Edward Furnell

British Army 11th Btn. Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) Regiment

My father Albert Furnell was a sergent in the Duke of Wellington's regiment. He rarely spoke of his time in the war, but I have found out he was wounded at Anzio in Italy. He was captured and spent time as a POW. He returned home after the war and was invalided out of the army.

If anyone has any information about him I would love to know.
