Sgt. Ottiwell Francis Lodge

Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve 106 Sqdn.

from:Manchester

(d.9th July 1942)

I have been researching the name Ottiwell Lodge as it relates strongly to an area of the Yorkshire Dales. I came across the probate record of Ottiwell Francis Lodge and it has led me to the recording of his death at the Runnymede Memorial and to this site. He was 21 when he died; his parents, Ottiwell and Mary lived in Levershulme, Manchester. I'm assuming he was in a bomber crew that didn't come back. I would like to know more.
