My grandfather, Frederick Lloyd Davis was a bandsman in the 2nd Battalion Royal Norfolks so he served as a stretcher bearer. He was reported missing in action on 25th May 1940 while defending Dunkirk. He was originally from Christchurch in Dorset and was married with two young sons.
