Joseph Farrer Robinson Wood British Army Queens Own Cameron Highlanders from:17 West St, Ferryhill Joseph Farrer Robinson Wood, my uncle, was a dispatch rider and served in Assam, Chittagong and other Burmese places in WW2. He would tell me stories of his time there, including crossing the Irrawaddi River - up to his neck in water holding his rifle and ammo above his head. I have several photos of this time. He was a very popular type of person. My mother was his sister Margaret, does anyone have any memory of him?
