A Whitley from Honeybourne was shot down by dca in my area, Orne Normandy on 23rd of May 1944. The pilot was F L Goodwin. All the RCAF crew disappeared in the crash and we will erect a monument in 2005 due to the fact the crash has been discovered only in 1998 by myself after a long investigation. There were only 2 witnesses.
