William McStravick who died aged 29 was born in Jarrow in 1909 to John and Ellen McStravick. He was the husband of Monica McStravick (nee Ivory) of Jarrow.
William is remembered on the Tower Hill Memorial and is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
