Colin Hart died aged 23 whilst serving with the Royal Engineers. Born in Jarrow in 1920 he was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth H. Hart (nee Fisher) of Primrose, Jarrow.
Colin is buried in Bari War Cemetery and is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
