213171 Pte. Norman Kellie Royal Marines HMS Cricket from:Ince-in-Makerfield, Wigan,Lancs My father, Norman Kellie, was born in 1924 and was conscripted into the Royal Marines. He served at HMS "Cricket" initially, which was (I believe) a land-based location in Hampshire. He went out to India and Burma in 1944 (if I remember correctly). He met up with one of his older brothers, Harold Kellie, in Rangoon who just happened to be out there with the Army at the same time. He never talked about his wartime experiences and what little information I have came from my mother.
