212454 Raymond Thomas Howkins HMS Collingwood British Navy from:Birmingham My dad was called Raymond Thomas Howkins. He was from Birmingham. I know nothing about my dad's time in the war except from this photograph.I do know he was very young when he joined 15?. Apparently he lied about his age.I do not know if this is true. He talked fondly of Malta and the Maltese people. I was too young to appreciate what he did for his country and would like to find out more. My dad died in 1993. In the photo my dad is 3rd from left bottom row. He looks so young. The photo says HMS Collingwood. I do not know any dates.
