212385 Gwyneth Margaret St.Angelo Womens Land Army Gwyneth Margareth St. Angelo was born in 1925 at Irlam, Lancashire. In 1943 she applied to join the Women's Land Army. At the outbreak of the war she wished to join the army like her older sisters, Pauline and Delys, but she was too young. She dearly wished to serve her country during those difficult years and as soon as possible joined the WLA. She was stationed in Hertfordshire between 1943 and 1944.
