Walder "Wally" Marchant

Bevin Boy

My uncle was Walder (Wally) Marchant. I never knew him but understood from my Dad (his brother) that he worked in the tin mines in Cornwall during WW2. The family lost all contact with him at the end of the War and never heard from him again. I have just realised that he was, in fact, a Bevin Boy. I would be pleased to hear if anyone out there remembers him or has any information about him?
