210842 Sgt. Eric George Martin Royal Air Force 104 Squadron from:London (d.6th June 1942) Eric Martin, my Mother's first cousin, was shot down over the Mediterranean and was one of 2 survivors who were picked up. Eric had suffered massive burns and died several days later in Malta hospital. He is buried in the Naval Cemetery on Malta. Eric had a twin brother named Ron who also served in the RAF. Flight Sgt 84 Squadron, he was was shot down 6 months later and is buried in London.
