James Henry Tapp

Royal Canadian Air Force 426 Squadron

from:Toronto, Ontario

My brother James Tapp was one of 7 children, all girls but him. Our Father hated to see his only son leave to join up but was so proud as he was a Vimy Ridge veteran and knew there was a job to be done. All of my sisters and I were so proud of him as he came in the CNE grounds, marched with his head held so high, it was all over for him and he was home once again where we sisters could spoil him once more. I am the youngest of the seven. Jim has gone but I will never cease to be proud of his memory. Miss him!!
