Harold Jason Dawes British Army 2nd Battalion East Kent Regiment from:Brighton, Sussex (d.25th Feb 1945) My Uncle, Harold Dawes, served in The Buffs in WW2 he signed up to serve his Country, completed his training, was posted to Burma and as soon as he stepped onto the beach in Burma, he was sadly shot dead. I would love to find a photo of him. Bless him. We, as a family, are so proud of this young man, without him and many more like him, we would not have a freedom today.
