Pte. Alfred Doyle

British Army Middlesex Regiment

I'm attempting to write the biography of my grandfather, Alfred Doyle who served in the Middlesex Regiment during the Second World War, mainly on anti-aircraft. He served in several places, including Biggin Hill. Later he was part of the occupying amry in Germany in a place called Nurenburg. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea how I can get his war record or a record of the regimental diary?

Editor's note: Please see our Family History FAQ's for details on how to obtain his service record, regimental war diaries are held in the National Archives.
