Technical Sgt. Henry "Hank" Fox

United States Army

from:Clayton, NM

My grandfather, Henry Fox, was a member of either the 338th or 388th Infantry and was taken prisoner by the Germans and kept in Stalag 7A.

I listened to an interview he did with a newspaper and he made his experience sound like an episode of "Hogan's Heroes" in talking of pranking the guards during head counts and playing chess with the officer. If anyone remembers my grandfather, I would love to hear from them.
