208861 Sgt Patrick Michael Griffin Royal Air Force 106 Squadron from:Glenbeigh, Ireland (d.7th Jul 1941) Patrick Griffin was serving as Wireless Operator/Rear Gunner. On July 6th 1941 he was detailed to carry out attack on enemy warships based at Brest, in Hampden Bomber serial no AE120. Hampden AE120 bombed its target at 0210 hours and returned to base. Unfortunately Patrick didn't. What happened to him I do not know. The other crew that night were P/O Herd, P/O McIver and Sgt Sell.
