207481 Pte. John McShane British Army 2nd Battalion Highland Light Infantry from:Sunnylaw St. Glasgow, Scotland My father John McShane, served in the HLI during WW11. He was very proud of this fact and often told us stories when we were children. Two of his friends that I remember him talking about were Colin Brown and Rab McGrath both also from Glasgow.
