Bugler Frank Cullen

British Army 21st Btn. Cameronian Scottish Rifles

from:Motherwell

(d.May 1940)

Bugler Frank Cullen was my father. He and my mother were engaged to be married when he was called up and I was born in December 1939. Because my father was killed in May, 1940 I never knew him and have not even seen a photo of him. I have always wanted to know more about my father but my mother was reluctant to talk about him as she married in 1942 and I was legally adopted by my stepfather who was a wonderful man and a good father to me.

I would be so grateful for any information about my father however small as the need to know about him is as strong as ever. I hope there is someone out there who can help.
