206164 Lt. Ernest Turner British Army Royal Signals Ernest Turner is my father-in-law. He was married in 1942 to Joan Rowland and had a son, my deceased husband, the following year, but they divorced soon after that. Ernest sent a letter asking for forgiveness because he had met and wanted to marry a Malasian lady. My husband had no further contact with his father although he paid maintenance all through his childhood. My children and I would love to know more about their grandfather.
