Flt.Sgt. John Isaac Hoyle

Royal Air Force 426 Sqd.

from:Hull

(d.18th Dec 1944)

My uncle John Isaac Hoyle was killed on the 18th of December 1944 whilst flying with a Canadian crew in a Halifax V11, LW209 on ops over Duisburg Germany. John completed 30 ops before his death all with 426 squadron from Linton-On-Ouse. John was promted to Pilot Officer in the month of October 1944 and is buried in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery together with Canadian crew member F/O Fox.

Unfortunately my family do not have his flying log and I will be prepared to reward well any information or even a copy of his flying log to complete my research. I would be very pleased to hear from any crew member or ground crew who knew him.
