204495 Irene Cook Women's Land Army from:Herne Hill, London My mother, Irene Cook, died when I was 11 in 1963. I know she was in the WLA, as I recall she mentioned it when we were on holiday in Sussex just before she died. She also had a friend called Pam who was also in the WLA.
