112517 Thelma "Tina" Green Land Army My mother, Thelma Green, joined the land army and was stationed in Pallington Dorset, I can vaguely remember the stories she told and her smile when she told me the locals called her Tina though I dont know why. Sadly my Mum has been passed away some years now but I would love to hear from anyone who may have known her or been in Pallington at the same time which I believe was around 1948 as she served six years. It would be wonderfull if someone could tell us some stories of that time as knowing my Mum there must have been some good ones.
