102973 PO A E Pemberton Royal Navy HMS Nelson After the recent death of my mother-in-law, I found a silver cigarette case,which had the following inscription: A.E.Pemberton P.O. P/J 110609 "H.M.S. Nelson" 1939-1944. This seemed to be a strange object to find, because no-one in the family has any naval connections.If anyone could shed any light on the case, or a member of the family knows anything I would be most grateful. The case has what looks like a naval badge on the front. There is also a photograph of two men in navy white uniforms inside.
