100313 Renee May Clode Land Army from:Manchester My mother Renee Clode was stationed 1942 -1944 in a hostel in Kingsland near Heraford with may of her friend she used to tell me many stories as a child about her days in the land army, her friends, her jitterbugging with the American troops, and of an American soldier who she said would have been my father if he had not died in action towards the end of the war. My mum died in 2001 of Alzimers not a way to go for someone so cleaver and good.
