27th September 1918

On this day:


  • Parade   At Road Camp (St Jan-ter-Beizan). 9th Btn. Royal Irish Fusiliers hold a Battalion parade at 1000. All surplus kits stored and preparations made for move to Siege Camp (near Vlamertinge).

  • Forward move completed   59th Heavy Artillery Brigade report 30th SB moved remaining sections to forward battle positions and orders received to attack tomorrow.

  • 27th September 1918 Move to Dominion Camp

  • 27th Sep 1918 Reliefs

  • 27th October 1918 Rest period
