18th November 1917

On this day:

  • 16th Northumberland Fusiliers on the move   16th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers march from Turco Farm to Brake Camp, near Poperinghe where they receive orders for an attack. The battalion is to be attached to 97 Brigade as counter-attack troops.

  • Daily Activity   9th Btn. (North Irish Horse) the Royal Irish Fusiliers.

    Barastre O.16 (centre).

    Battalion moved from Bertincourt and is comfortably encamped in Adrian and Nissen Huts and tents.
