On this day:


  • 16th Sep 1915 Mines Laid

  • Personnel changes   6th County of London Brigade RFA report 2/Lt. Blackwell returned and took command of 15th London Battery. 2/Lt. Woollett left Bruay and proceeded to Maroc. Capt. Cooper left Bruay and reported to 47th Divisional Artillery.

  • 17th September 1915 9th Lancers train

  • Return to 5th Cavalry Brigade   E Battery 3rd Brigade RHA

    Return to 5th Cavalry Brigade from attachment.

    17th September - Marched to Bleringhem on rejoining 5th Cavalry Brigade - 23 miles. Started at 0530 into bivouacs at noon.

  • 18th Manchesters move to Larkhill   18th Battalion Manchester Regiment arrive at Larkhill Camp from Belton Park.

  • 17th Sep 1915 Keeping in Touch

  • 17th Sep 1915 10th Essex on the March

  • 17th Sep 1915 Trench Work

  • 17th Sep 1915 Recomendations
