17th October 1916

On this day:

  • 16th Northumberland Fusiliers march south   The 16th Btn Northumberland Fusilers marched to Gouy-en-Ternois, via Frevillers, enroute to The Somme sector.

  • Relocations   236th London Brigade Royal Field Artillery marched to Aubrometz with billeting parties proceeding ahead of the column. The Bedfordshire Yeomanry were in the town, but after a little trouble the Brigade got in very comfortably.
