On this day:

  • Battle of Festubert    6th County of London Brigade RFAattack. The 7th Division has attacked in direction of Rue D’Ouvert-Charell St Roch Cantileux. The ground captured yesterday was consolidated. The 15th London Battery fired twelve rounds on the Rue Du Marais, and twenty two rounds on G.22. C.45.
