On this day:

  • Personnel changes   6th County of London Brigade RFAreport 2/Lt Van den Bergh proceeded to join Massy Group at Les Brebis. Bruay now out of bounds for British troops.

  • 14th September 1915 9th Lancers short excerise

  • Back into Action   E Battery 3rd Brigade RHA

    Le Quesnoy.

    Four guns went into action after dark on east edge of wood just north of La Bassee canal about 1 mile east of Gorre and took the place of 4 guns of the 71st RFA which took up new positions for wire cutting. Got into position about 1930. Battery 3200 yards from German trenches observed from a ruin near Givenchy Village a very good observing post.
