    Spell of fine weather broken. Rain fell continuously throughout morning. Usual inspection parades and training carried out during day.

    Batteries proceeded with the preparation of the new forward positions.

  • 16th Welsh Fusiliers under fire   The 16th Royal Welsh Fusiliers came under fire between 5.30am and 6.15am at Englefontain.
